Treatment for Opening Sequence…

The idea that myself and Ali have decided to do for our opening sequence is the one with the cross cutting with a normal day and a brutal murder. The plan that we have for the opening sequence is to have the murderer being a very normal person but with OCD and wants everything perfect. In this part of the film you never get to see this characters face you just see close up of the characters daily life and how he likes everything to be perfect.
We are going to have the murderer waking up in a very weird and particular manor and making his bed straight away with no creases, the murderer is then going to have his clothes already prepared from the night before or have him ironing his clothes, we would then follow him down to go have his breakfast where he will place his plate, knife, butter and toast in specific way ready for him to eat it. This would be cross cut with the murders victim that is getting ready to get in the bath when she hears a knock on the door. Unaware of what is about to happen she goes down stairs in her robe, opens the door and starts to get attacked. You see the victim trying to climb up the stairs but gets dragged by her legs, she makes it back to the bath room where she thinks she going to be safe because she can lock the door but he gets there just in time and kills her and leaves her dead in the bath tub. This is then followed by the title of the film.
I will be doing the editing for the group and make the connection between the two stories join together effectively.
